Taiwan Power Company Signs an MOU to Establish an International Team for the Collaborative Development of Geothermal Energy

Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) commissioned the Yilan Renze Geothermal Power Plant in 2023, generating nearly 4.7 million kWh of green electricity annually. Today, Taipower, in partnership with Taiwan Cogeneration Corporation (TCC), internationally renowned geothermal developer Baseload Power Taiwan, and geothermal technology company GreenFire Energy, aims to establish a geothermal team to collaboratively develop geothermal energy in the Tatun Mountain area of northern Taiwan.
